Interactions between Hatchery and Wild Salmonids – Understanding of the Risks, Benefits, and Options for Management

We have organized the symposium ‘Interactions between Hatchery and Wild Salmonids International Understanding of the Risks, Benefits, and Options for Management‘, a 3-day session at the 145th Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society next week in Portland. The symposium expands on the topics we explored at the ORAFS Hatchery vs. Wild Salmonid Symposium meeting this past January. The program (linked below) includes the symposium schedule, abstracts, and presenter bios, similar to the ORAFS symposium program.

Please consider attending the symposium to learn about research and management of hatchery and wild salmonids in the Pacific Northwest, as well as Alaska, Japan, Europe, and South America!
