Member Benefits

At the annual meeting, our Chapter announces allocation of thousands of dollars in funds to recognize outstanding personnel in managing and researching Oregon fisheries, support students pursuing degrees in fisheries-related disciplines, and invest in operations and research conducted by our members. These opportunities are typically available for applications in the winter preceding the annual meeting the following spring.

The Chapter also provides funding for fisheries professionals to gain credentials through the The AFS Professional Certification Program. The certification highlights the expertise of fisheries professionals, promoting their role as responsible and knowledgeable contributors to public interest.
